AI UX patterns / Interface & starts

AX-09 · Interface & starts

Sometimes the AI answer should be an interface

Someone asks to compare three products.

The answer can be an interface.

Weak version: Comparison as text
WeakA paragraph of specs nobody can scan.
Strong version: Comparison as text
StrongA generated table with the actions right there.

How to apply it

  1. Match the answer's form to the task: comparisons as tables, steps as checklists.
  2. Keep the structured view interactive, so people can sort or remove items.
  3. Fall back to text when structure would hide nuance.

Where it breaks

When generated UI looks different every time and can't be learned.
